With a wheelbase of 313mm, the FJ Desert Fox is based on the Pioneer platform. Desert Fox redesigned the reverse drive system, improving the weight layout, and improving steering, balance and performance.

The Desert Fox has a split transmission with the reverse drive system. The battery is mounted in front of the all metal suspension. It has a 45° steering angle, positive Ackerman design, integrally moulded steel chassis rail, the solid steel links, and ball-bearings are fitted throughout.

The Drive train features a high strength metal gear with slipper clutch and a precision steel CVA transmission.

The vehicle boasts bead-lock wheel and 4 sets of LED lights.
